I have been using Admanager for a month or 2 now (and theses forums too), And I have noticed the same question are being asked, and the searching the forums can be time consuming. So to Help noobs (and a referance for myself) Im posting a FAQ:

Q: How do I Install Admanager 2.2
A: Answer

Q: How do I update to Admanager 2.2
A: Answer

Q: How do I make AdsManager show up on the site
A: Answer

Q: Adding new fields in admanager is not working! (Not showing on the public site)
A:Answer (Make sure you highlight the Categorys you want the fields to show in)

Q:"Home" Link in Menu is not consistent (keeps changing)
A:Answer

Q: Lightbox does not Work with {insert name} template!!
A: There are compatibly problems with some templates, try using Lytebox or HighSlide JS instead (Pre admamager 2.2 version look LyteBox howto, HighSlide JS howto)

Q:How to send a confirmation email sent to the User  (currently email sent to Admin only)
A:Answer

Q:How Do I Add more Details to the confirmation email?
A:Answer

Q:Advance search doesn't work when the site is first loaded!
A:Answer

Q: How to combine AdsManager with Google Maps
A: Answer

Q: How to add LyteBox and/or HighSlide JS to AdsManager < 2.2.0
A: Answer

Q: How to edit the currency sign
A: Answer

Q: How to solve image creation errors
A: Answer

Q: How to change the browser title
A: Answer

Q: Can I use sh404sef with Adsmanager?
A: Users have found that sh404sef breaks the Advanced Search in Adsmanager. You can set sh404sef to skip Adsmanager but this then breaks "Next page".  Either disable the search in Adsmanger and just use Joomla default search or don't use (install) sh404sef.
Update:Can also do a modification to a CORE file follow this one: http://joomprod.com/forum/index.php?topic=2697.msg10524#msg10524 this will fix "Next page" issue

Q: How to fix problems with number of ads pr category in the menu?
A: Change the SQL type in the option for the menu module (Forum topic)

That was just a few of the top of my head, if you can suggest anymore please reply Grin

Another one. ...

How do I display the number of advertisements in each category beside the category name?

I did find one forum posting with some instructions, but it seemed to be for an older version of adsmanager.

Thanks.
