After updating to Joomla 3.6.3, this component created a problem on my site, where I use Gantry 5 and a template from Rockettheme. Specifically, assigning templates to diifferent pages no longer works unless I uninstall your component.

I am passing this information on to you, as I have to uninstall the component and either search for a new one, or - much preferred - you work with Matias Gries to identify what exactly in Joomla caused Adsmanager to behave this way and provide an update fix.

I don't know if you checked the thread at rockettheme out or not. If you have you'll have read the solutions which Matias identified. If you didn't then here it is.

There is issue in the component which causes template style assignments to break in the whole site. I was able to track down the issue to require_once inside router.php -- after removing it, the site starts to work properly again. Offending line is:
require_once(JPATH_ROOT.'/components/com_adsmanager/lib/core.php');

The library file is making calls to $app->getTemplate() multiple times. This is bad because of all of this happens before Joomla router has figured out which template to use. Running the function too early will force Joomla to always use default style and thus breaks the template style assignments in the whole site.

EDIT: Before the issue was restricted to a single component, but after a change in Joomla router in 3.6.3 the issue now affects all the pages.

I hope this helps. I'd appreciate feedback and when I can expect an updated Version of adsmanager.

I don't get it.
This is a bug in your product which has caused problems to a number of joomla sites and after quite some time - even though I provided you with a very clear problem description - you now want me to go and patch the programm I paid you for?

Why don't you just issue an update? I've had a product that I can't use for over a month and I now have to go and mend it myself?

I think I'll go and pass this on as a description of the quality of support you provide by commenting on the extensions directory. Is that what you want?
