#196 – Akeeba Backup file has question mark

I've been having trouble with adding categories in Adsmanager. Suddenly they seem to load in random places in the sub-categories I'm working in. I've been making backups using Akeeba that shipped with the package, but in each line of the backups I make there is a 'question Mark' after the 'backend' symbol. However, in the 'Status' column there is a green tick? Should I worry about the question marks???
I've lost 3 days trying to load catagories and restoring backups, but getting nowhere. HELP please!!!!

I tried to attach screen shot but cannot , so I'll describe;
Under the 'Description' title there is an icon representing 'backend'. Next to this is a white Question Mark in a black bubble.

Hello,

I don't really understand the issue with akeeba backup.

For the category, what is the issue exactly ? When you create a new category the old ones are updated with wrong parent ?

I have resolved my issue with Akeeba. It turns out that the 'question mark' in a speech bubble is an icon, which if you place your mouse cursor on, will reveal any text you typed in the 'Description' field box when you make a new backup! If only the manual would tell you this!!!? So happy to close ticket now there is an explanation.

With regards to the categories issue, I have now resolved this also by installing a previous backup.
