#485 – Change position names

Hi Loic,
I have a new problem. I need to change position names on AdsClarity.

How can I do? Is it a simple thing? When I update the template is it a problem?

Hello,

Changing the position is possible, but you will have to update all the module assigned to that position.

In Joomla, the position are not saved in the database but directly read in the xml.

To change the name, update the xml file of the template first.
Then update the index.php
And finally, reassign the modules.

Please be aware that any update of the template will erase your modifications.
