#773 – Automatic email send before ad expiration

Something is going wrong with email notification before ad is expired. [*]
Could you please expalin the steps of setup to configure and control this process?

For example i have i want to send to user automaticaly an email 5 days before its ad
is expired. This mail is not send it by the system.

Hello,

In the configuration of AdsManager, check the 'Cron Type' setting in the General tab.

If you don't know how to set a Linux Crontask, you need to set it to 'OnUserRequest'.

With that setting, each time a user goes on an adsmanager page, a check will be done and the expiration email will be triggered.

If no one goes to your website, it will not work (If you are in a developpement environment for example).
