Joomla! version : 3.9.28
PHP version : 7.4.22
AdsManager version : 3.0.4
We currently face a problem on our website www.deadstock.nl which I have described below (and the attached files).
In addition I have just renewed our Adsmanager license subscription.
Questions that I have:
• Do we have to solve this problem described in the attachment before we update from version 3.0.4 tot the latest version?
• Or, do we have to update first and look into the problem after the update?
Please advise.
Regards,
Hans Doeve
Its been a while (December 2014) since our last contact regarding Adsmanager and my clients website https://deadstock.nl/ .
The website and Adsmanager (still version 3.0.4) have been working fine. But we ‘suddenly’ now have a problem (error) with the search module (top of front page).
After entering a search term and clicking on the search button (“Zoeken”), we get an error:
1191 - Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list .
Questions are:
• Is there an obvious explanation for the sudden introduction of this error?
• Is there an easy and quick fix for this problem on the current website?
• Will this error disappear if we upgrade to a later/latest release of Adsmanager?
Settings of the search module are shown below.
Field 1 (Veld 1) is field “ad_zoekveld”, which is a multiple search field.
When I try to edit the field äd_zoekveld” I get an error.
Some observations:
1. If no search term is entered then the websites works normal, all ads in the database are shown in the search result.
2. When I change the settings of the search module to:
a. Show search field, and
b. Fields all empty,
then the search seems to work fine (no error). (This is something I don’t understand).
3. The problem became apparent after the latest update of extensions, among which was OSMap Pro. I have uninstalled OSMap Pro and installed an older version of OSMap Free. (Didn’t help). I don’t see a direct relation with the search problem, but I thought I should mention this.
The technical environment of the website is:
• Joomla 3.9.x, hosted by Strato
• PHP 7.4.x
• MySQL 5.7.x
• Akeeba Admin Tools Pro
• Akeeba Subscription integration
• X/OSMap integration
• Adsmanager, with about 10.000 ads of a limited number of advertisers
PHP version : 7.4.22
AdsManager version : 3.0.4
