AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Not sending Order Confirmation mails was created by hdoeve
Expected: system to sent an order confirmation mail to advertiser and administrator when credits are bought using offline payment method.

Actual:
- no order confirmation emails are received by advertiser nor administrator.
- other mails are send and received (new/changed ad, payment conformation (advertiser and admin)
- all mails activated in Invoicing.

Situation:
- deadstock.nl
- Joomla 3.3.1, latetest AdsManager free and Gold Pack (installed "on top")
- Activated payment methods: offline payment, PayPal

When selecting "offline" you can activate ORDER_EMAIL to send the mail.

There are in invoicing email when you paid (INVOICE_EMAIL) and when you select a payment method (ORDER_EMAIL)

Sorry, but I do not understand your response.

Where/when/who : "When selecting "offline you can activatie ORDER_EMAIL..."? Cannot find it.

In Invoicing it is activated (see attachment), but that is not specifically related to offline payment.

From an other forum topic I understood that ORDER_EMAILs are not send when it concerns an AdsManager (package) order.

Is that correct?

If so, how does the administrator knows that an order (with offline payment) has been issued by a (new) advertiser. This is necessary as the admin has to edit the Invoice, specifically if it is new advertiser.

Please comment.

Could you send me a mail with link to this post , url and admin account + FTP. i don't understand why you are not receiving mail when "offline" mode is selected.

We will check directly on your website.
