AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Error occurs when trying to install the latest version of adsmanager. It throws up the error at the start before it installs anything. Ican forward the ftp details etc for you if you wish.

Hello,
sorry for my bad english.

I found the error and the solution, but I do not know if it's the right way.

The error is in the file: install.adsmanager.php
At the last code part:
// For Joomla 1.5
global $parentadsmanager;
$parentadsmanager = $this->parent;
// For Joomla 1.5
if(!function_exists('com_install'))
	{
	function com_install()
		{

		global $parentadsmanager;
		$class = new Com_AdsmanagerInstallerScript();
		$class->updateXmlJoomla15($parentadsmanager);
		$class->postflight("update",$parentadsmanager);
		return $class->install(null);
		}
	}

I deleted this part of code and the extension installeted success.
I think this does not cause any problems, because the comment reference to joomla version 1.5.

Is correct?
