Why Two Folders For Ads Images was created by mshihan
Hello Loic,

When I look at media folders there are two folders for ads images and both folders are containing same images.
images/com_adsmanager/ads
images/com_adsmanager/contents

Will this effect the storage space of hosting package?

Best Regards

Hello,

The ads folder is no longer in use, it was blocked by browser extension like adBlock so we changed it for the name 'contents'.

The ads folder contains all the ads pictures from before the update (the update was done more than one years ago).

Best regards.

Hello Loic,

I am using the latest version of AdsManager and Joomla.
If the ads folder "images/com_adsmanager/ads" is no longer is use, why It keeps uploading images of new ads to both folders?
Do I need to delete this folder "images/com_adsmanager/ads" to prevent uploading images to it ?

Best Regards

Hello,

That's an issue.

When you upload an image, it is uploaded in the ads folder ?
Could you tell me what is the path written in the file 'components/com_adsmanager/lib/core.php' line 27 and 30 ?

Best regards.

Hello Loic,

When I uploaded images it is showing in both folders. If i delete an image in "images/com_adsmanager/ads" it also delete images from the ads.

Line 27 and 30 is written as

if(!defined('JPATH_IMAGES_FOLDER')){
define('JPATH_IMAGES_FOLDER',JPATH_ROOT."/images/com_adsmanager/contents");
}
if(!defined('JURI_IMAGES_FOLDER')){
define('JURI_IMAGES_FOLDER',JURI::root()."images/com_adsmanager/contents");
}

Best Regards
