I have currently disabled maps display on lists on website due to the problem.

Yes.
Seems like there's some kind of vertical shift in the markers, but this doesn't work well at all.
Where I have 8 markers in the same position, some markers are just not able to be found do to grouping of markers.

There is a fix in the code that prevent that kind of behavior.
