[RESOLVED] HOT and NEW change language was created by nocturna
Hello,

I am using the AdsClarity Gold 1.0.8 template with AdsManager 3.1.11 and Joomla 3.7.4

I have defined and translated in my language (Catalan) the HOT and NEW constants as follows:

HOT = + Vist
NEW = Nou

In principle everything works correctly and in the listing of ads these constants appear correctly translated in my language as can be seen in the following image:



But when performing an ad search the result of the search appears with these constants incorrectly in English as can be seen in this other image:



Even the text of the publication date appears in English (Published on …) instead of appearing in Catalan (Publicat el …)

I do not know why this happens.

How can we solve it?

On the page with errors will check if you have errors in the language files (debug language in joomla configuration.

I checked this and I get only the following error message:

Line 161:

JLIB_DATABASE_ERROR_FUNCTION_FAILED="DB function failed with error number %s <br /><span style="_QQ_"color: red;"_QQ_">%s</span>"

Line 540:

JLIB_INSTALLER_ERROR_DEPRECATED_FORMAT="Deprecated install format (client="_QQ_"both"_QQ_"), use package installer in future."

But I do not understand what relationship he has with the problem.

Try to replace by

JLIB_DATABASE_ERROR_FUNCTION_FAILED="DB function failed with error number %s <br /><span style='color: red;'>%s</span>"

And

JLIB_INSTALLER_ERROR_DEPRECATED_FORMAT="Deprecated install format (client='both'), use package installer in future."

These should remove the error.

You don't have any other issue.
If the error still exists. please use the ticket system on joomprod.ocm to share us your website details (ftp, account, etc..) + description and link to this discussion.

In the file 'templates/adsclarity/html/com_adsmanager/result/default_list.php', line 144 and 152 (the line number may vary):
replace :
echo "<div class='newAd'><i class='glyphicon glyphicon-star'></i> <strong>NEW</strong></div>";

and
echo "<i class='glyphicon glyphicon-fire'></i> <strong>HOT</strong>";

By :
echo "<div class='newAd'><i class='glyphicon glyphicon-star'></i> <strong>".JText::_('NEW')."</strong></div>";

and
echo "<i class='glyphicon glyphicon-fire'></i> <strong>".JText::_('HOT')."</strong>";
