It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Am using joomla 2.5
adsmanager 2.95
all modules published
all categories published
all categories set to -1

cannot write new ad in back-end - says content saved but no content displayed
ads can be automatically published
new ad link in front end not working just giving error 500 page

what am I missing?

Hello,

Can you enable the debug system in the configuration of Joomla and try to add another ad ?

This kind of error is often produce when you set a bad configuration for one or more fields.

Have you added fields to your AdsManager before the error occured ?

I wondered about the fields but have not fully checked.

Seems like recaptcha was the problem. I had registered for a key and inputted the details before enabling but after rechecking this module seems like the key info is not there.

Thanks for the debug suggestion. Your help very much appreciated.

Will now play with adsmanager before making the site public.
