Adsmanager ads showing /'s and W's in ads was created by bmw2182
My client has been using Adsmanager 2.8.1 for quite sometime and all of a sudden when he enters in 35' 7" and get's /'s instead of the feet mark ' and W's instead of the inches " mark. Any ideas what is causing this?

Does your client changed the website charset ?

Has he updated one of the component of AdsManager ?

Has he installed a new component before encounter the problem ?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by changing the website charset. I have since found out our hosting providing moved it from one server to another and the problem appeared after that. Not sure if something happened during the move. Any thoughts what I could check?

Hello,

If your client has moved the database with an export / import, it may be possible that each textarea field has been escape for avoid a conflict with specials chars.

Could you take a look at the database ? Or even compare the ancient and the new database to see if something has change ?

I can look at the new database, but I believe they have removed the old one. Is it possible to fix it now?

In the new database if you are seing it with phpMyAdmin, in the adsmanager_ads table, in the ad_text column (if the problem is in ad_text, do you see normal text like 35' 7" or 35\' 7\"
