It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Working adsmanager in subdomain.

Installed joomla 2.5 in main domain and installed appropriate adsmanager version. Directed joomla to working database from subdomain. Can place ad in back-end but front-end gives error in all browsers as below

server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete

Even recreated new database but still redirecting error!

How do I resolve this problem.

checked with server who advised

could you try to unactive SEF. I think you have some error with that due to your server configuraiton

Ok that worked, but now when I click on place ad I get an error and response

You do not have the right to write in all categories

This even when I log into front end with superadmin name and password

I have created 6 categories all as per doc instructions with public read and write

Then when I try to log out we are back to redirect issue even with sef disabled

Seems that you have really strange issue. Maybe the easier solution is to restart from stratch

As you don't have a valid subscription I cannot log in your website to see what is wrong, but if you subscribe we could check your website.

But anyway, first thing I will do is to retry a simple setup with only adsmnaager and joomla and see if it'sworking normally
