I'm just returning to joomla lately, and having just installed 3.1 i'm liking it allot - also, the newest version of adsmanager seems to have some some ways.

One of the biggest changes is the monitization for simple things like the adsmanager sh404 plugin - which I still have from a couple of years ago, unfortunately, it doesn't work with this version.

ANYWAYS.

The issue - I am using SH404Sef, version 4.1X - Joomla 3.1X and Adsmanager 2.9X. and I have gotten the URL's to behanve somewhat nicely thus far, and I'm thinking this issue is just me not having used this in awhile, but here it is:

here is a a sample SEF URL from my site, as you can see, the category numbering is showing in the URL itself, as well as in the ad, and, the url seems to drop off after a certain number of characters drop- (there is more to it than that, and, it should have a .html on the end.

My question, and, I understand this is a forum for adsmanager, and my issue is related to utilization of adsmanager with SH404 and I am looking for some help in ridding the cat numbers per above, and, figuring out why the URL is cutting off.

I am thinking this is just a stupid setting switch somewhere, that allows me to turn off category ID numbers from showing in the URL.. however, I cannot find it ;(

settings:

SH404 - under "by component settings" in configuration, I have adsmanager set to: Use Joomla Router (which, by the way, seems to have been pivotal in getting the URLS to look somewhat decent!)

Joomla Global Configuration (SEO)

Search Engine Friendly URLs: YES
Use URL rewriting: YES
