AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

I installed AdsManager when it was at version 2.8.1 and ever since then I have always had a notification that there is an update available to install. I tried several times to use the Joomla Update feature to update AdsManager but it didn't work for me. I manually updated AdsManager to 2.9.0 but I still have an notification that there is a 2.8.1 update.

Is there a way to remove the inaccurate notification in the Joomla Updater?

Hello, we need to improve the update notification to be able to update adsmanager by checking version (gold,silver,bronze,free)

Normally, if you have installed 2.9 the notice should be removed. did you press "refresh" and "find updates".
You could try also to remove adsmanager then reinstall it.

I clicked "Purge Cache" in the Joomla Updater and it got rid of that old update. Thanks!
