I just checked the uploaded image and it's displaying as having uploaded to mydomain.com//tmp/plupload/p18d8h7udbn7j14c21gtiaau2on4.jpg
I note that there are TWO slashes after the domain name, and that the photos are not uploading to the images/com_adsmanager/ads folder as before. So this seems to indicate a path change directing the image upload. That is not a change I could have made in the admin area of the extension, and no changes were made to my server.

The last images that uploaded to the proper directory were on 12/17 which is when this started happening (around the 18th when I updated Joomprod)

So where do I go to fix this?

No, I didn't know there was a new version out. I had upgraded to 2.9.6 the day before that came out, because I was having the image issue. I upgraded to 2.9.7 just now and the double slash issue is fixed. But the thumbnail is still not displaying. There have been no changes to my server configuration or to the site in months, aside from the upgrades to adsmanager and the usual Joomla upgrades. The image has not been uploaded to /images/com_adsmanager/ads. I did try uploading images through the adsmanager admin area in Field Images and those uploaded just fine, although I don't know what they are for. I just wanted to see if uploading was an issue, and apparently it's not.

Hi Thomas,

I also just updated to 2.9.7 and no results :-)
I also asked questions on a Dutch forum and they said:
my host works with a windows server and that is Always problems with joomla.
<img width="50" height="50" src="www.ragdollkittensforsaleandbreeders.com....jpg?time=1388675322">
This line I get asking Google Chrome to inspect the element (thumnail) and as you can see ......... the thumbnail is on my server. All I see is some kind of image of a file, so NO black cross.
So I think you maybe right by writing to me it is a question for my host.
I already asked my host about it yesterday but I did not receive an answer yet.
If I do I will post the results here.
For now thank you.
Petra.
