Hello i have to high I/O on my server. I have read forum that can make hits counter on joomla content. I use only content from adsmanager. And will try totaly disable writing hits counting to db. I have set Display the number of view in date column to NO hits are not displayed, but stil writing hits to db. Can you please help me? I cand find where to change part of code.

The code that increment the hit count in the database is in components/com_adsmanager/controller.php line 100:
$contentmodel->increaseHits($content->id);
