AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

mod_adsmanager_menu - error was created by Miro
I have Category1, Category2.
In the main menu I want to make two links, one to Category1, other to Category2.
1. problem:
After click in mainmenu on the Category1 I want to show in modul only category 1. Now also appears category 2.
The link in Main Menu is set by Pic1

2. problem:
After click on the unwanted Category 2 system reports an error by Pic2

Joomla 3.6.4, Adsmanager 3.1.6

Hello,

In the settings of the menu link, do not select anything in the 'root category' parameter.

Hello,

Ok, to do what you wish for, you need to add some element.

In adsmanager, create a new category 'cat parent 1' for example, then edit the category 1 and set the new category as its parent.

In the menu link, select nothing in the category setting and 'cat parent 1' in the root category setting.

The root category will limit the display to the children of the category selected. It will not work at all if the category selected doesn't have any children.
