AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

Hello,

When I frontend in AdsManager submit a new ad, the Add image-button doesn't appear. But backend it appears as normal.

Otherwise, it may be mentioned that during program execution of Akeeba Backup, I get this warning related to AdsManager:
The symlink /home (...) www/images/com_adsmanager/ads points to a file or folder that no longer exists (...).

So maybe the problem is due to some old stuff from a previous version of AdsManager, first bought in 2009, and that the fault with the image button and warning in Akeeba, both are related to a single misconfiguration?

In a test installation with the same version of Joomla, the same template, and a completely new installation of AdsManager, where nothing is migrated from previous versions, the Add image-button appear properly.

Joomla ver. 3.6.5, AdsManager ver. 3.1.6.

I would be grateful for help.

Hello,

IThat issue seems to be caused by an outdated version of AdsManager.

Did you try to look at the browser console on the edit page to see if you have an error ?

Thanks for your reply. I can't find any errors on the edit page. In the admininistrasjonspanelet it is however an error that appeared after previous upgrade of Joomla to version 3.6.3, but that only appears when I click on the menu item Menu. And I do not know whether these problems can be related to each other.

Just a short update: The aforementioned error with JSON-data is now fixed. But the problem of missing Add image-button still occurs.

Edit:
I have now moved the website, for other reasons, which meant reinstallation from a backup. Meanwhile I removed some outdated tables the from database. And after this I have not seen error messages related to AdsManager when I take a new backup.

But as before, the Add image-button doesn't appear. I also made a new installation of the latest version of AdsManager, but it was not helpful.

Hello,

Are you sure there is no javascript error in the browser console ?
Did you try to change the template to the default one to chack if the template is not the cause ?

Yes, it's unfortunately the same if I use Chrome, EDGE, Firefox or Internet Explorer, and from different computers, the problem still occurs, as well as with the default template Protostar.
