[RESOLVED] 3.1.9-3.1.10 Profile change error was created by caamlin
When attempting profile changes of any type in both versions listed above I get error prompt - 0 - Call to a member function getPlugins() on boolean. It does make the changes. I tested on a password change and it did take effect. I tested on both versions 3.1.9 - 3.1.10. I also switched to joomla profile page instead of adsmanager profile page and it did not get same error it changed the password as it should have with out error prompt. Any help would be appreciated on fix

Hello,

Yes, there is a bug within the code.

Open the file 'components/com_adsmanager/controller.php' and find the line 968:
$fieldmodel	    =$this->getModel( "field" );
$usermodel->updateProfileFields($user->id,$fieldmodel->getPlugins());

Then add this line just before it :
include_once(JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR.DS.'components'.DS.'com_adsmanager'.DS.'models'.DS.'field.php');

It will solve that issue.
