AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Cannot View Ad

Cannot View Ad was created by Kelly
Hi,

I am running the free version 3.1.10 with community builder.

A premium member can add an advert and view it. Visitors (unregistered) can see the ad in the list, but when they click to view the ad, they have to login.

I have set the categories to all view and premium only write.

I want:
Premium members to be able to add and view adverts.
Visitors to be able to view adverts.

Am i missing something very obvious?

Hello,

In the setting of the categories, what did you select in the usergroup right list ?
You need to select all the group that can see or write an ad in each list, the legacy system of Joomla isn't supported by AdsManager.

Also, if the visitor are unregistered, you can simply set the submission type to only registered user and let all the other settings by default.

You also need to check the menu item of AdsManager, they must have their access right at 'public'.

Best regards.
