AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Google is finding different URL's was created by Boatlocator
Hello again
I am checking Webmaster tools and in Search appearance - HTML improvements it shows a list of duplicate Meta descriptions. Whilst most are easy to fix, there is a list of 35 and then a second list of 62 showing duplicates. However, when I click the link to view the page, the url is not one I have published
www.commercialboats.com.au/adsmanager-de...r-work-punt?rootid=2
and it display this error
prntscr.com/ffc14z
It is not the z-pellor tug page displaying, it is the home page. The url also has rootid=2 on the end which I have not seen before and is also displaying 'adsmanager-details' in the url.

Are you able to offer a solution to fix this?

Hello,

The first screenshot come from a menu item with a rootid set that doesn't work, maybe there is some menu items that are not used anymore in your configuration ?

For the other link, does it display the same error ?

Best regards.

Thanks for your reply Loic and pointing that out.
I found I had 'Adsmanager Search ' published in hidden menu and have unpublished that, hopefully, that was the problem?? Everything else published is being used. I will see if that makes a difference ..
The index.php keeps showing on some urls also

Hello,

the index.php in the url can be avoided by using the rewrite feature of Joomla, are you using it ?

Best regards.

Hi Loic
Yes, I am aware of that and do have it turned on. I am going to sit tight on this till google revisits my site on webmaster tools. I am hoping that since I have removed the 'Ads Manager search' it may have been causing this problem as well. Lets see what Google comes up with next visit and re look at it then

hi Loic
I have not resolved this at all. The errors are reported as this
prntscr.com/fios24
This is the error when the url is clicked
prntscr.com/fioskb
I have been through all my menus and cannot see anything published that is not used. I have also been through all Ads Manager menus and they all appear correct.
The duplicates nearly all have 'root id' or 'all ads' in the url
I am really at a loss as to how to fix this??
