Some customers have issue with uploading photos

Hi,
I could not generate that error, but some of newly registered users reported that cannot upload photos for a new ad.
That happens on Firefox, Explorer and mobile.

I tried on all browsers that I have on my computer (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Opera) and my Android and everything works fine...Tried huge pictures also works..
But it is symptomatic that I have a lot of new registered users and only few post an ad. Couple of my friends told me that cannot post add, when upload photo its log them out...
Again, I could not generate such error, so I am asking if someone had similar problem?

Thanks

Hi,
Yes, that is one problem. It logs them out when trying to upload photo.

Second one is that there is no photos shown on "upload file" dialog on firefox.
It shows by default "All supported files" and there is no .jpg. I taught that is because of Firefox version, Win ...but same browser on other website when try to upload file on same "upload file" dialog opens only "All files" selection, not "All supported types".

Here are screenshots:

Hello,

Regarding the logout issue, it seems that the plugin log them out when it called the url to upload the picture.
Are you using a plugin that manage the page you need to login for you ?

for the supported file issue, it is not something done by the code, so I cannot help you there.

Best regards.

Hello,
I do not know if there is some plugin or not., it is just a Quick Start package installed. Nothing is customized.

For a second issue, must be something with a code, because when I tried on the another website with same browser (just new tab open) it worked, on couple of websites. All of them are showing photos in a dialog, but mine.

This might help...What are folders in ..images/com_adsmanager/contents/ "Uploaded" and "waiting" they contains many photos that are not on a website.

Thanks,
Milos

Hello,

The uploaded folder contains all the pictures uploaded by the upload plugin when the edit form is displayed.
Once the edit form is sent, the pictures are removed from the uploaded folder and moved in the waiting folder if the ad is pending payment or in the contents folder if the ads is not waiting payment.

Best regards.
