AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Hi,

I am using version 2.9 on Joomla 3.0.

When I click on the Advanced search, the advanced search page continues to show majority of the fields.

I go to the "Advanced Search" settings , and move the fields around from "all fields" to "advanced search", nothing happens, if I leave the column blank, nothing still happends. On the front end, everything stays the same, regardless of how I set the fields in the back end in "advanced search".

Any suggestions how to fix this so I can select only the relevant fields to show up on the front end advanced search page?

Thanks
Jag

Hello,

With the free version of AdsManager, the 'advanced search' link of the search module redirects you to a advanced search page.

The fields showed in this page are set within their option in the administrator.

I think you use this one.

However, with paidSystem, you can install a new module named 'Advanced search module', it is this module who is managed by the config page 'Advanced search'.

In the Adsmanager settings, go to the tab "Fields" and then choose the name of the field that you want to hide and inside the details view of that filed go to "Search Option?" and choose "No"
