AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Hi there,

I get the following error with adsmanager

You cannot post a new ad in this category. Max number of ads per user is -1

I checked the ads and categories tables and have the limitads, usergroupread, usergroupwrite and publication date and those fields are there.

I also set Maximum number of ads (-1 = unlimited) to -1 for categories.

I also set the Access Rights Read and Access Rights Write to Administrator, registered user and super users

So even if I fill in all the fields and save then it gives the error and don't save.

What else can I do for it save?

Are you using 2.9.9 or 2.9.8 ?

It is fixed now thank you.

I upgraded from 2.9.8 to the latest 2.9.9 and now it works.

1 more thing.

How can I limit the display of subcategories? ben-ct.co.za/ben-bank/offerings

Hello,

You cannot limit the display of subcategories with AdsManager.

But with an override of this view, you can directly modify the code to do what you want.
