AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

Hello all, I have this problem with adsmanager 2.9.9 that when any user or the superuser logged in
. The categories list from the "welcome to ads section" at the bottom of the ads homepage will disappearm
And also when the superadmin click the "new add" buttom on the menu, adsmanger provides error/info that
"You do not have the right to write in all categories"..
But everythin would be normal if you do not logg in. Why

Furthermore, when u download the adsmanager and install. It do come with category 1 and its subcat1, subcat 2 and 3. But when you change the categories to your desired category name and you log in, the category u change won't show up.

I thought I have misconfigured something from the adsmanager admin panel. But when I downloaded the same adsmanger
2.9.9 the same problem continues

Hello

Which version of joomla are you using ?

When you edit a category, you can set a limit to forbid users to add more than a chosen number of ads for that category, this number may be set to 0 in your configuration.

i am using the latest version, i also checked the category options as u said but it is set to -1. and u can also see in the second picture that when i logged out it will show me the lower categories below welcome to ads section,
furthermore in the 3rd picture u can also see that when i am not logged in, it wil let me add an ads.

please help. i redownloaded the adsmanger 2.9.9 several times but still no change

Hello,

Do you use PaidSystem with AdsManager or AdsManager alone ?

In the configuration, take a look at the General tab, check if the 'Number of Ads by User' parameter is set to -1.

Also, i really need to know which version of Joomla you're using to do some test.

I am using version 2.9.9. Nd adsmanager alone without paid system. Also I checked the general tab and its set to -1

Did you check your categories settings. Edit each category and check the joomla group who are allowed to post an ad.
