You can change the order of your categories directly in the administration.

Yes, I tried but the function is drag and drop, I have many categories and in future I have to add more, is there any solution for ordering the categories in automatic?

Hello,

There is a way to order the categories like you want, but be aware that the drag and drop order will not work anymore for the categories.

You need to open the file 'administrator\components\com_adsmanager\models\category.php', then find the following code line 255 :

" ORDER BY c.parent,c.ordering,c.id";

And replace it with this one :

" ORDER BY c.parent,c.name";

This will force the category to order by name.

Also, be aware that any reinstallation of AdsManager will erase this modification. So if you wish to reinstall the component, you will need to make the modification again.
