It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

I have paid system set up as:
mode: pay per ad
category price $10
# addt categories 0, addt category price 0
global price for addt'l images $15
unlimited number of ad categories for selected groups yes - all selected except public & guest
make all categories free for selected users... i have all but public and guest highlighted (as they should be free text ads)

i need text ads to be free for registered users and $10 for others, then $15 for EITHER to add images.

so ad with photos for registered is $15 for non registered is $25

It seems like it is charging me the $15 when logged in but not taking me to payment to pay for it.

How can I set that up?

Hello,

The problem is that by making all categories free for selected usergroups, all the options will be automatically set free for those groups.

It's a little more complicated to set up what you want to do.

You can duplicate each category and give access to one set only to the public and guest, and the other to the others usergroups.
Then you give a specific price to the categories accessible by the free groups.

By doing this the free groups will be billed 10+15$ for the ads and the registered user will be billed 15$.

If I set it up this way, will it show the ads all together?
horses(members - free)
horses(nonmembers - charge)

or will they have to search 2 categories to look for ads?

Hello,

Yes, the duplication of the categories may be confusing at first, it will display several categories named the same way on the front end.

But by filtering all the categories by usergroups, the duplications will only be visible from the backend.

There is no option to set a category free for one group and with charge for the other.
