When I set "Category Price to "0" and "Number of additional Categories" to "0", the default price for any category should be "0" (= free).

Two Questions:

1. If I then set a specific price (example $5) for a root category, does this mean that all child categories under the root will have the same price ($5) or do I have to set the $5 price for each child category separately as well?

2. If I set a price of $5 for a root category can I set a different price for a child category (example $3) and then the price for that child category will be $8 (= $5 +$3) ?

1. You have to set the prices for all categories , root settings is not applied on children categories

2.
You have to set $5 for root, and $8 for the child (there is no addition)
