I just purchased and upgraded my Adsmanager and Paid system to the newest version(2.9.6) Silver package and I have noticed that the Paypal Sandbox is not working anymore.

I get an error from Paypal about a problem in the email address supplied by the seller. I used the same merchant email address as the previous version but this is only happening after the upgrade.

To test if it's only with sandbox, I disabled sandbox and typed in my actual Paypal email address. The process went though fine and took me to the Paypal log-in screen to pay. I still have more testing to do and would really like to use the sandbox for now if you somehow get this fixed.

Sorry for the time to answer. Did you get it working ?

When this 403 appears. After pressing "paypal button" ? or paypal returns what is the URL display when you got this 403 error.

After a fresh install of Joomla3.2 and silver pack 2.9.6 most of my errors disappeared but unfortunately this problem with sandbox still remains. This error appears right after pressing the Paypal link to pay on my site. Here is the URL of the error page.

This is the error message I am getting:

We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com.

Your purchase couldn't be completed
There's a problem with the merchant's PayPal account. Please try again later.


I am using the business email address I created on my Sandbox account but the error say something is wrong with that. So I went to sandbox to recreate the email address and even followed the instruction on how to create the email on sandbox to make sure I got it right but nothing changed. Is this a known issue or just me?

On a good note, when I use my regular Paypal account and take Sandbox off then everything gets processed right. I ended up having to create an alternate Paypal account to test this out but will be nice to have it fixed so i don't have to transfer real money.

Did you try to contact paypal ? I think this is something link to your sandbox account. Not really link to adsmanager.
You can check the POST paramters that we are sending to paypal to see if the email sent is the correct one.
