So i just upgraded to latest version 2.9.6 Silver pack. I configured everything and set to pay by credits. To test things out I have given a user 500 credits from the backend and from the front end I tried to purchase ads.

On the bottom of the form It shows that this user has a balance of 500 credits but after submitting I get a split second warning on screen and then goes back to the form with "Not enough credit" error message on the top.

I checked the files on the warnings. Two were for the api.paidsystem.php. Something to do with Categories for group not being set. So I went to the paidsystem configuration, where it say 'Unlimited number of ad categories for selected groups' & 'Make all categories free for selected groups' and changed those to YES and selected SuperUsers. This seems to have worked for now. The error doesn't pop up anymore but still, it would be nice if I had a choice.

The last warning was not from Adsmanager. It was for a gallery plugin I put in so I disabled that to use the Adsmanager's default gallery. I managed to clear all the warnings but I was still getting 'Not Enough Credit'.

I checked VirtualMoney configuration and noticed something. When I create a VirtualMoney Pack, I set the price to be 5 which will be $5 and the credit value to 500 and hit save, but the credit shows as 50000 credits. So then I set the price to 5, and credit to 5 to make the credit show up as 500. The Credit is showing up as 500 on the user's account, front and back end but in reality it's only 5 credits so when the user makes a purchase, it showed up as not enough credit.

In case others are having same problem where credit you typed in does not match the credit shown. Here is what I did for now.

Go to VirtualMoney component page, clicked on "Option" on top right, under General Configuration tab set the Number of decimals to 2. This makes it easier to read the credits. Now when I type in 500 credits, it shows up as 500.00 instead of 50000 credits. When I put 5 credits, it will show 5.00 so there is no confusion of how many credits are actually there.

Thank you for the reply. This error disappears after I did a fresh installed of the component. Now the credits are showing right with no extra zeros. I think there was an issue with the updating process.
