AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

This is not available sorry.

Only solution currently is to set a limit of ads.
Then use a component like "payplans or akeeba subscriptions" to create a subscription (that will change the user group)
And set this group to "unlimited ads".

In Paidsystem configuration I have only "Unlimited number of ad categories for selected groups" I thought he was referring to the number of categories. Is this what I have to set for unlimited ads?

Hello,

The setting 'Unlimited number of ad categories for selected groups.' bypass the limit of ads by user set in the categories edition.

The setting 'Make all categories free for selected groups.' makes all categories free for the selected groups.

In your case, you need to set a limit to your categories in the categories edition of AdsManager, then you create a new user group and select it in 'Unlimited number of ad categories for selected groups.'.
Then you can use payplans or akeeba subscription to create a subscription that will allow your users to change group.
