PRESALE QUESTION
I have 2 kind of registered users : normal registered and special users. I need that Registered Users can access (insert and modify) to category A and I need that Special Users can access (inser and modify) to categories A and B
Clearly Registered Users cannot access to category B
Unregistered Users can view all.
Is it possible ? it's necessary a plugin, or a component modification, or it's not possible ?

You can set read and write permissions for each category using joomla group, so what you wanted is possible
