Hello,
first of all thank you very much for your reply!!! but even if i did exactly as told nothing changes and the from name does changes. The fuction of email sending works ok, but nothing changes. It is as it was.

I don't understand your message, the code is modified but the email you received is still the same ?

Be sure to check if you allow the attached file or not, the problem may come from that.

Hello again,
i do not allow attachments. And yes i added the code that you told me in line 741 to be exact (because you told me after 740) and nothing changes to the from name. where should i add(which line) the following code that Loic said in previous replies?

$userSender = JFactory::getUser($content->userid); //I'm not sure about that, it might not be userid but user_id

//and in the body of the mail
$body .= "Link to the ads of the advertiser: link.fr/user/".$userSender->id."-".$userSender->username;
