How to separate Archived and Actual ADs?

Hello,

I have some specific requirements for the Archive logic in ADs management, so I am playing around with archive functionality now. I've managed to set the "move the AD to Achieve after the expiration" on the configuration panel and specified the Archive category - so the ads will be moved to archive category on expiration. That’s perfect.

But there are some more requirements I need to implement:

1. The user should be able to archive its own AD manually.
This one seems to be OK: it can be performed by editing the AD and moving it to Archive category. I can also add the "move to archive" button to the ADs list that will update the AD and change its category.

2. The Archived ADs should not be visible in “All ADs” list and the search results.
Is there any existing functionality for this requirement or I should go for a code modification?
If it's a code modification, can you give me some tips where exactly should I dig?

3. Pretty similar to previous one: The Archived ADs should not be visible in user's profile on a Community Builder ADs tab.
So the question is the same: is there any existing functionality for this requirement or I should go for a code modification?

4. The Archived ADs should be viewed in user's profile on separate Community Builder ADs tab.
I think I should go for cloning the plugin and invert its logic to display Archived ADs only instead of non-Archived ones.

Hello,

1. already solved

2. You can create a parent category for the archive category and another for the others categories, then in the menu item for the all ads link, select the parent catetogy of all the ther categories as root id.

3. 4. You need to custom the CB plugin to do that.

Best regards
