My Host company heart Internet one of the biggest in Europe have posted this warning to all re-sellers like me warning that there is a hack available and advising we immediately uninstall because the hack allows for control and access of our ads manager database!!

Please how can we be protected! what can we do!! PLEASE SEE THE MESSAGE FROM HEART INTERNET TO ALL WEBSITE ADMINISTRATORS, I HAVE COPIED THIS MESSAGE IN ITS EXACT FORMAT!!!!!

Critical Joomla Vulnerability Update

A vulnerability has been discovered in the Joomla extension adsmanager, If you are currently using this extension it is advised to remove this from your installation. extensions.joomla.org/extension/adsmanager Exploits for this were published on the 7th, or earlier. Sites running this component suffer from a File Upload Vulnerability, allowing attackers full control to the site. We've seen exploit kits that include exposing the database username and password. :pinch:

I AM WORRIED SO I HAVE SEARCHED WHAT MY PROVIDER SAID AND TRUE TO THEIR WORD HERE ARE TWO OPEN VIDEOS FROM YOUTUBE THAT ANY HACKER CAN DOWNLAOD. PLEASE ADVISE!!!!

Hello,

This issue was solved a year ago and can happen only between the version 2.6 and 2.9.13 not included.

An article was written on this website regarding this issue and we also sent a newsletter.

If you are using one of the versions with this issue, just update your adsmanager to 2.9.13.
