AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

It's for a new install so I don't have any data. I'm running a Mac so localhost is not an easy option.

I will try to install via URL instead and see if that works.

Weird is correct!

It's not a new install so the quickstart file isn't an option. I'm on a Mac so installing on localhost isn't an easy task.

I uploaded com_adsmanager_gold_3.1.6.zip directly to my tmp folder and unzipped the file. When I go to install via URL, it seems to be installing but returns the 500 error page just like it did when I try to install via "Upload Package File" tab in the backend. Also at this point, if I click on the Joomla control panel link, I get a 500 error. The only way to get the Joomla control panel working again is to uninstall the component.

Humm 500 Internal Server Error means PHP errors, did you get any information in your apache log files ?

I was able to finally get to the log file.

I tried to install again so that it would create an entry in the log.

Here's the only mention of accessing the installer component. This had to be the point where I attempted to install.

I don't see an entry specifically for com_adsmanager.

Does this help at all?

No it doesn't help. i don't know how we can help you.
You are doing in local mode,
There is no problem with our files, we are able to install it on several server and local...

Did you try to install it online ?
