Assigning a users name to an ad in admin (Backend)

Hello Again
I am wanting to start to upload vessels to my new site via the back end and cannot assign each vessel (ad) to a user by name.
Currently it has the users 'user name' which I will never remember, so I need to be able to look up the user's actual name in order to assign that user to that ad.
The same will be needed for the front end, when logged in as admin, I need to be able to upload a vessels (ad) on behalf of a client (user) and assign the vessel to him.
Clearly, I dont want this available to public or registered users.

Can you tell me how to go about that please?

Hello,

To do that, you need to modify the username field to display the actual name of the user.
It is custom code.

Best regards.

Ok Thanks
I actually need some more custom code done in that area, I will send an email with a brief of work required.
(Assuming that is best?)
