It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Hello,

Once Adsmanager is installed on your website, here is what you need to do.
To have a working AdsManager, open the backend of your website and go to 'Menu -> create a new menu item'. Give a title to your menu items and Select 'AdsManager -> Front' in the menu type.

A new link will be added to your main menu that will contains the front page of AdsManager.

You can also configure AdsManager as you see fit in the backend 'Components -> AdsManager'.

i just ordered ads manager gold... downloaded it to my computer.. i have 3.4.8 no errors, database updated, clean install and all sample data removed
brand new....
tried to install ..extensions>install> get error...

Hello,

I understand that you had a old version already installed on your Joomla and you removed all the datas ?
Could you check the database and see if the old adsmanager tables are still here ? If so, remove them and try to reinstall the component.

Also, if you have the debug mode enabled in your Joomla, it is better to disabled it before trying to install.

Many thanks - that's worked. Can have a good play now to see what it can do. There wasn't an AdsManager->Front' menu type - I assume that you mean 'AdsManager->Home'

Anyhow, much further on now. Will do some configuring and add some users, and ads, etc., see what it looks like.
